Research Partners

INRIA is the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control. It is a scientific and technological institute operating under the dual authority of the Ministry of Research and the Ministry of Industry.
USTL is the Science and Technology University of Lille (in french Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille) located in the north of France.
LIFL (in french Laboratoire d’Informatique Fondamentale de Lille) is the USTL’s computer science laboratory and is linked to the CNRS (in french Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique).
The French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) is a public basic-research organization that defines its mission as producing knowledge and making it available to society. The CNRS has 26,000 employees (among which 11,600 researchers and 14,400 engineers and technical and administrative staff). Its budget amounts to 2,214 million euros for the year 2004. The 1,260 CNRS service and research units are spread throughout the country and cover all fields of research.
IRCICA is a research insitute which aims to promote the development of hardware and software components for advanced information and communication behaviors (in french Institut de Recherche sur les Composants logiciels et matériels pour l’Information et la Communication Avancée).
